This month marks one full year that Grant and I have been in the adoption process! What a journey it has been and continues to be! When we started this process, the Lord placed two things on our heart: 1. Our bundle of joy will be biracial/African American and 2. Our adoption will be done for $20,000. Over this past year, I’ve made contact with at least 75 agencies/adoption consultants ALL OF WHICH have denied working with us because of our budget being to low. Many have said it simply will not happen. Y’all… I serve a God who is the MASTER of impossible and when Grant and I hold our sweet baby, we’ll be holding PROOF that God always fulfills His promises!
HERE’S WHAT WE’RE EXCITED ABOUT…
Over the last month, we’ve been contacted 3 times from different agencies/ lawyers about adoption opportunities. Each adoption was estimated to be $45-$47,000. Receiving a phone call about an adoption being $22,000 is extremely encouraging. We’ve been told over and over that anything near $20,000 impossible. GOD IS SO GOOD!
We hope to find out if this opportunity is for us in the next few weeks. The waiting time is difficult, but Grant and I have agreed to not attach ourselves to this situation just incase it isn’t the one for us. We will not meet the birth mom before she makes her decision. In the meantime, our profile book is being seen alongside another family’s. Our prayer is that Holy Spirit will lead this mom to the perfect family no matter the outcome. We hope to have details soon and we can’t wait to celebrate her wishes either way! Should we be the chosen family, we will start FUNDRAISING! Currently, we are continuing to do work with Haniya’s Design. If you need anything created graphic design wise, PLEASE LET US KNOW. We’ve also started creating profile books for families wanting to adopt!
Thank you to everyone for all the love and support. Please keep spreading the word! Although we have a potential opportunity, we are going to continue sharing our story and praying for the perfect connection.
Throughout this process, I’ve tried to post everything about our journey. If you have a specific question, please ask! We are so thankful for you, and I want you to feel like you’re part of the journey as well!
We love you guys!

Here’s the information we know: this momma is currently in prison and wants to place her baby for adoption. The baby is due March 2019 and is biracial (African American and Hispanic).
